A wonderful film. Go see it.

Congrats, beautifully made.... 'Born Free' of brumbies in the Blue Mountains - loved it! x
Australia has the largest wild horse herds in the world, and their presence and management continue to be controversial and unresolved. 'The Man From Coxs River' very effectively captures much of the nuance and challenge of these issues. I'm planning to use the film in my university teaching when the DVD is released, and will be examining some of the issues around the Snowy Mountains brumbies later this year.
Thanks for the opportunity to watch the preview at Sutherland, it's a great film.
Congratulations to Russell, Amy and the rest of the crew.

We talked and talked all the way home about your wonderful film. We found it moving and engrossing and well made. But also really loved how you presented the different views, that is, just let people speak for themselves without 'manipulating' things that were said and felt.
This afternoon I was very privileged to attend a screening of this wonderful film. I did not know what to expect and I found I was completely absorbed from beginning to end. The horsemanship and the love for the Brumbies is incredible. Every Australian should see this film, particularly residents of Sydney and the Blue Mountains. I look forward to seeing it again at the cinema in a couple of months with the rest of my family.
Absolutely brilliant film. It's sensuous and dramatic and set so close to home. Highly recommended.
